How can we encourage tourism service providers to respond to information requests?

Dahub is the intelligent tourism data management tool that enables you to improve your efficiency and stay close to your local tourism professionals. To promote their region, tourist offices need to offer their visitors a complete and reliable range of services. It is therefore essential to collect and share up-to-date information. But how do you encourage tourism service providers to respond to information requests?

Use intuitive collection methods and save time every step of the way

Tourism providers are in the midst of a digital transition, which has accelerated in recent years. Opening/closing times, health measures, ancillary services - information is rapidly becoming obsolete, evolving over time, and requiring regular updating with each change.

Remember that to share up-to-date, reliable data, a professional has to fill in multiple pieces of information on multiple platforms all the time!
So if you turn up as a tourist office with an old Word or PDF questionnaire sent as an attachment to a non-personalized e-mail, chances are they'll think you're a dinosaur...!
I've even heard that some still send out paper mail (yes, they do!).

The first drawback of this technique is that all too often the information we already know is not pre-filled in: the pros have to start from scratch every time!

Other solutions take over data already held by the offices, but don't care if the data is already online, on Google My Business or Facebook for example.

Here again, if you reuse content already captured by the pro, on the web or elsewhere, it's highly likely that he'll save time and, as a thank you, respond more quickly to your requests!

Uska's teams are actively working on all these issues, proposing the Dahub turnkey platform to enable TOs to efficiently manage their updates in the simplest and most intuitive way possible.

Prospect new service providers by reusing web data

Sometimes, you don't have any information on a tourist offer and you want to make the first move! In business jargon, we call this prospecting!

Here again, you need to be organized and well-equipped to maximize your chances.

That's why we're currently testing a brand new module with a small team made up of the tourist offices listed below, customers or interested parties (and soon to be customer), and our tech team.

This "file creation" module enables you to showcase local businesses in our region.

The aim of this new module is to make it easier for you to enrich your databases.
Due to lack of time or information, the service providers you call upon don't have the reflex to fill in the questionnaires you send them. As a result, you can't provide up-to-date data.

An important point to note: they are present and communicate on the Internet (website, Facebook, Google My Business, Trip Advisor...).

What if it were possible to save them time and allow you to share qualitative data, thus ensuring the promotion of your territory?
That's the challenge we've set ourselves with this module.

The tools developed by Uska are based on artificial intelligence.
Thanks to Dahub, we can monitor and collect data from tourism providers already on the web.

We therefore suggest that, when creating a new form, tourist offices integrate existing data from the provider's platforms into the questionnaires.

All that's left for the service provider to do is reread the pre-filled questionnaire, check the information and return it.

The Apidae file is then created via Dahub with all the new information.

This tool is a revolution and a time-saver for all parties involved.
For service providers, it makes their work easier, as they only have to rectify or complete information. And for tourist offices, it allows them tooptimize data entry, provide personalized support and use an intuitive tool.
